Anna Kroup

Anna Leonora Kroup left us early in the morning on Monday, February 18, 2013. Anna was 24. She served as a producer for the STC, and maintianed our social media presence. Anna was a woman of many gifts, she was above all a performance artist, dedicated to the theater and had accomplished a great deal at an early age. Although extremely gifted, she did not flinch from hard work, but asked much of herself and gave much, living up to her demanding motto, “God is in the details.”

Delany Van Wert

Delany Van Wert, a star for the Schenectady Theater for Children in the 2009 summer workshop performance of Alice in Wonderland, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the age of 13. She blossomed during her time with the theater and the younger children in the cast looked up to her. The members of Schenectady Theater for Children are deeply saddened by the loss of Delany.  She is truly that star, glimmering and everlasting.
